A bit about me.

I think big

I hold the project’s vision so we never lose sight of where we’re going.

I work small

I’m diligent with each step and detail so the job’s done right.

I am responsible

I never miss a deadline; I’m always prepared for meetings; I’m responsive to concerns; I’m attentive to where corrections are needed; and I ensure clear expectations and accountability structures.

I care

With training in coaching and experience leading groups in high-stakes situations, I respect your capacity, am attentive to your needs, and affirm and maximize the resources and abilities you already have.

I embrace complexity

I have a proven ability to understand difficult concepts, to accurately assess situations, and to identify what’s most important.

I emphasize action

I’m always searching for the practical application of ideas. We’ll inspire hearts and hands and not just the mind.

Who is Lucas Lee?

I believe that generous imaginations are crucial to personal and communal flourishing.

This conviction motivates me in the mix of roles and tasks that have formed my vocation in recent years:

Founder and chief executive of Gradient Goods; editor and creative consultant; volunteer board chair for a multifaceted non-profit organization; and husband and father. (Learn more on LinkedIn.)

I’ve lived in Winnipeg, Hong Kong, and Beijing, and am grateful to work and play in Vancouver, on the traditional, unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.

“Lucas took the time to get to know my community and me. He was quick to recognize our vision for the project. Most helpfully, Lucas mapped out the steps needed: from editing to design to printing.

I’m so grateful for Lucas’s approach to his work, which is both personal and professional. I felt supported, encouraged, and I learned so much from him in the process.”
